Artificial intelligence is evolving at an extraordinary pace. New models, applications, research findings, and regulatory considerations appear continuously, making it increasingly difficult to ensure that every article on this website remains accurate, current, and useful.

For that reason, I have decided to close the site while reconsidering how its content should be reviewed, organized, and maintained. Keeping outdated information online—particularly in a field that affects medical education and healthcare—would be inconsistent with the standards this project seeks to promote.

This is not necessarily the end of AI-Ophthalmo-Ed, but an opportunity to develop a more sustainable approach to sharing reliable and relevant information about artificial intelligence in ophthalmology and medical education.
